Student Feedback about TRSP classes
The Reiki Share Project has received very positive feedback from students who have taken our classes:
- “I can use Reiki right from the first class. I can tap into and use this positive energy.”
- “Reiki overall is a blessing. My life has changed forever.”

Community Outreach
The Reiki Share Project raises awareness about Reiki through public speaking engagements and presentations. Attendees learn about the practice and benefits of Reiki, the mission of the organization, and can experience Reiki firsthand through short Reiki sessions. Recent and upcoming community outreach programs include:
- Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare Leadership Retreat—November, 2010
- Dynamic Professional Women’s Networking and Fundraiser Event, Lombard, IL, November, 2010
- “Reiki Refresher Course” offered at the Chicagoland Wellness Center, Downers Grove, IL, January / February, 2011
- Community Reiki Share at Wellness House, Hinsdale, IL, January 2011
- American Cancer Society “Relay for Life of Elmhurst”, June 2011
If you are an organization or community group interested in sponsoring an Introductory Reiki Class or a community outreach program, please email us at info@thereikishareproject.org or call us at (630) 244-8141.
Fundraising
You can make a difference in the life of an individual or caregiver facing the day-to-day challenges that accompany serious illness, disability or trauma. Share the gift of Reiki, and give someone the gift of relaxation and stress reduction. Here are some ways you can help us raise money to support our programs.
Mini Fundraisers
Every donation counts and helps to cover the cost of one participant taking our Introductory Reiki Class. Several Reiki Master Teachers and friends of The Reiki Share Project have recently hosted mini-fundraisers to support our programs:
- Pam Spera organized and hosted a Reiki Healing Circle.
- Cindy Sparrow offered a class to teach friends how to make Christmas egg ornaments.
- Anne Quigley, a member of the Dynamic Professional Women’s Network, spearheaded a fundraising event sponsored by this group for The Reiki Share Project.
Are you interested in hosting a healing circle, open house or small auction to donate proceeds to support our programs? Do you have a new, unique or creative fundraising idea in mind? To host a Mini Fundraiser for The Reiki Share Project, please email Jane Van De Velde at jane@thereikishareproject.org.
Donations
Perhaps you or someone you know has been touched by the gift of Reiki. We gladly accept donations in honor or memory of special people in your lives. Visit our “Make a Gift” page to donate. You can donate online through PayPal or by mailing us a check.
We are also happy to receive “in-kind” donations of goods and services. Office supplies and copying services for our teaching manuals are gratefully accepted!
